Samples II

Surprising post from Berlin: Holger in't Veld has sent us a tasting of the chocolates from Guatemala and Nicaragua. It is amazing how two origin chocolates, which are absolutely identical in their composition (cocoa, cocoa butter, sugar), smell and taste differently. Our "Indio Rojo" chocolate has a strong tart cocoa smell and does not taste bitter, but has an almost fruity taste (black currant, plum), while the Nicaraguan chocolate smells rather nutty-sweet and taste mild with a light fermentation note. Both have a low proportion of cocoa beans and shell (cascara), which makes the chocolates crunchy. Congratulations to Holger and thank you for letting us taste the chocolates.

Then our dear Yvonne has designed a fabric bag for sending samples. Thank you very much!
