Loading the container

The hot phase of our import & export business begins: Finally the cocoa is loaded into a container, to start its journey from Puerto Santo Tomas de Castilla to Hamburg the 1st of July 2017. 80 bags with a total of 3,629 kg "Indio Rojo" are in the container. Thanks to our colleague Pablo for taking care of it.

Marsha and Christoph have experimented a bit in the domestic kitchen. The result: A strong spice mix based on roasted and grated cocoa beans. The mixture is very good for meat dishes, but it also fits well with tomatoes and goat's cheese or fish. The only important thing is to use the mixture after roasting so that the cocoa does not burn and become bitter.
